Bridge crossing from Obolonsky Island in the direction of Pryrechna Street in Obolonsky district of Kyiv, Ukraine

The construction site is located in Obolonskyi district of Kyiv. According to the assignment, a bridge crossing from Obolonskyi Island in the direction of Pryrechna Street was designed.

In the process of plan and profile development of the bridge, the requirements of urban planning conditions were taken into account. The superstructure of the bridge and the right-bank approach are in a straight line in the plan. The left-bank approach and the connection (behind the abutment wall) are on a curve in the plan.

Geometric characteristics: total length – 60.86 m; geometric scheme 18+24+18 m; clearance – 4.0 m; free clearance from the water surface to the bridge structures is not less than 2.5 m.

The span structure is 18+24+18 m. In cross-section, there are two reinforced concrete prestressed I-shaped beams, which are connected by a cast-in-place slab into a temperature-continuous system. The intermediate piers are two-column cast-in-place.
