Overpass at the intersection of Nauky Avenue and the Continuous Traffic Highway in Kyiv, Ukraineю

Geometric characteristics of the structure prior to major repairs: total length – 247.0 m; geometric layout – 4x21.0+24.0+6x21.0 m; clearance of the carriageway – H11.26 m; minimum height of the underbridge clearance – 5.38 m. In terms of layout and profile, the overpass is located on curves. The overpass is made of reinforced concrete. All spans of the overpass are bridged by prestressed reinforced concrete beam structures according to a standard design, which are combined into two temperature-constant branches. The intermediate piers of the structure are reinforced concrete, the abutments are made of precast reinforced concrete in the form of retaining walls with reverse walls, which transition into the retaining walls of the approach embankments. The foundations of all piers are on bored piles.
