Metro bridge over the Rusanivska Strait of the Dnipro River in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, Ukraine
Overhaul of the roadways of the metro bridge across the Rusanivska Strait of the Dnipro River in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv.
The bridge was built in 1964. Separate spans for the road section (4 lanes) and the subway (2 tracks) are placed on common supports. The outer (transitional) spans of the bridge are covered with separate precast-monolithic beam spans.
The central spans consist of three separate box girders, divided along their length into blocks with dry joints, connected by pre-stressed reinforcement. The piers are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete with developed return walls on pile foundations.
After the overhaul, the bridge has the following characteristics: total length – 337.77 m; geometric scheme – 11.360+2x52.385+52.920+51.745+52.315+52.400+11.355 m; dimensions of the roadway and sidewalks of the bridge – G 14+1.8+0.9 m.
